Companies often find themselves burdened by a historical system that has since become inefficient, obsolete and/or too expensive. Whether your legacy systems are no longer able to address your needs or you are weary from the onerous maintenance fees/licensing agreements, Systemware can help. Systemware strives not only to provide the most robust, flexible content management solution on the market today, but also to demonstrate our customer commitment ensuring that each migration is faultless, on-time, and within budget. Systemware has a team of seasoned consultants focused on migrating companies to our solution from a variety of products
For years, companies have turned to Systemware and our proprietary Legacy Archive Processor (LAP), to speed the migration process. Instead of converting the actual data, LAP builds references to any form of content (documents, e-mail, print streams, images, scanned images, desktop files and all other electronic content) previously archived by the legacy system. To end users, this content appears along with the current data and documents captured and archived by the Systemware solution. When a user requests a legacy archived content, LAP will automatically retrieve the document from the legacy archive media and migrate it to Systemware. Documents, indices, assignment, users, and distribution can all be migrated quickly and easily. This transparent approach, with its common look for both new and legacy data, has dramatically reduced the time, effort, cost not to mention the risk associated with content migration. |
